Does the timer keep working in another browser tab?

Yes. It calculates remaining time from the target end time, so switching tabs should not stop the countdown.

Will I hear an alarm?

The site uses browser audio when available. Some browsers require a user interaction before sound can play.

Can I pause and resume?

Yes. Use Pause and then Start to resume.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The layout is responsive and works on modern mobile browsers.

Can I rely on it for safety-critical timing?

No. Browser and device sleep restrictions can affect alarms. Do not use a browser timer for medical, industrial, emergency or other safety-critical timing.
